Our Mission
At Harris Temple A.O.H. Church of God our mission is to reconcile mankind with Jesus Christ. The Apostolic Overcoming Holy Church of God is set up on the foundation laid by Jesus Christ and the Apostles. We believe that the work that Christ began must be continued to bring mankind to complete reconciliation with God. Our mission is to be obedient to the word of God and as it is written in Acts 2:38 (KJV)

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
We have a special focus on mankind receiving another chance from God and walking in the newness of life. The word tells us in Romans 6:4

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
